Average gas prices across Virginia increased again this week by five cents to $3.50 a gallon, while the average price of gas across the country is up four cents to $3.63 a gallon.

The average price of gas in Danville jumped nine cents to $3.35, while the average price in Pittsylvania County climbed 10 cents $3.44 a gallon.

In Martinsville the average dropped by four cents to $3.26 and in Henry County the average price remained the same at  $3.34. Prices in Halifax County are up by eight cents to $3.55 a gallon.
