On Friday, the Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office and Crimestoppers are co-hosting a no-cost to the public shred day to reduce the risk of identity theft. The event will take place from 9 am until 1 pm.

There will be two locations for the public shred day the Food Lion parking lot on Franklin Turnpike and the Food Lion parking lot in Gretna.  Commonwealth Document Management will be on-site providing the shredding service.
