A Danville woman has been arrested for felony hit and run on a pedestrian in Eden. According to the Eden Police Department, on Tuesday at 12:20 am, officers responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian on South Van Buren Road, just south of South Park Terrace.

The preliminary investigation indicated that the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle traveling South on South Van Buren Road.  The vehicle that struck the pedestrian fled the scene and continued traveling south on South Van Buren Road.  

The pedestrian was transported by Rockingham County EMS to Moses Cone hospital in Greensboro.

After a thorough investigation and consulting with the Rockingham County District Attorney’s Office, warrants were issued for 32-Year old Courtney Deshae Robertson of Danville for felony hit and run causing serious injury.

Robertson turned herself in on Thursday to the Eden Police Department. Robertson was transported to the Rockingham County Magistrate’s Office where she received a $10,000 secured bond.
