Danville, Va. – Danville Police have made an arrest in a Sunday shooting that sent three people to the hospital. 18-year-old Rayshawn Wa-Heim Bennett is charged with use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and shooting into an occupied building.

Police were called to the Outcast Motorcycle Clubhouse in the 100 block of Hughes St. early Sunday morning after receiving reports of multiple gunshots in the area.

The shooting left Bennett and a woman with gunshot wounds and another person was hit by glass fragments. Bennett was treated at the local hospital and released. He was arrested Monday evening without incident and is currently being held in the Danville City Jail without bond.

The 21-year-old female victim was transferred to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, where she remains in stable condition. The other victim was treated and released.

The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
