The driver wanted in a Pittsylvania County fatal hit-and-run collision is in custody. The Register & Bee reports the man who is from Roxboro, NC was arrested last Friday and is held in the Pittsylvania County jail. Police say the man hit a disabled SUV on South Boston Highway then hit the 2 women who were pushing the vehicle off the roadway. Lenise Snead of Danville was killed and a woman from Ringgold was critically injured.
