Average gas prices across Virginia are up by 13 cents compared to last week at $4.30 a gallon, according to AAA, while the average price of gas across the county is up by seven cents this week to $4.52.

The average price of gas in Danville climbed by 12 cents this week to $4.16, while the average in Pittsylvania County is up by eight cents this week to $4.24 a gallon. The average price in Martinsville rose by 17 cents this week to $4.18 a gallon and in Henry County the average price is up by 13 cents for the second week in a row to $4.18 a gallon. The average price in Halifax County is up by two cents this week to $4.23 a gallon.
